Stephanie Hernandez (QEBS)

I was welcomed at MAR Insurance Group in September of 2012.  I walked in as a receptionist with little to no knowledge about insurance.  What I did know was what I had learned along the way through life experiences.  My prior work history did not involve insurance whatsoever.  I worked in quality control for the Toyota Plant here in San Antonio, TX, prior to that I worked in courier services, food service, and even spa therapy.  I was all over the place trying to find something I had more passion for.  Just like life does, it put me somewhere I didn’t imagine I would be, here at MAR.  Over time I realized what an asset we are to the community and how much I did not know, everything I learned I felt I needed to share with everyone I thought should know.  Eleven years later and I still feel the same way.  Overall, my goals with the agency would be to continue to become more knowledgeable in both Life & Health which I spent the last ten years learning and now adding Property & Casualty to my list of goals.  

Born and raised in the Alamo city, I raise my 3 children, 2 of whom are teen boys, who are very headstrong and independent.  The 3rd is my girl, a first grader who is very much a sponge these days.   She is interested in anything and everything all at once.  My kids keep me on my toes daily and it sounds cliché, but they are what keeps me going.  We enjoy road trips, and barbecues with friends and family.  We also enjoy exploring different parks and walking/hiking trails in and around the city.
